Penambahan Kapasitas BW Telkom-2011

Posted by Telkompedia team 0 comments

- akan.muncul menu lain, pilih "check-in"
- pilih lokasi terdekat dg lokasi anda, dengan memilih pada menu "check-in at"
- klik "check-in here" bila lokasi sdh ditentukan
- done

Sent from Samsung tablet

- ketik koordinat dg format desimal:
" South, East (text tambahan)"

- format South. X.YYYYYY. (4 digit blkg koma atau lebih)
- format East. A.BBBBB (4 digit blkg koma atau lebih)

Sehingga format menjadi. :
X.YYYYYY, A.BBBBB (lokasi saya)

Contoh :
-2.074028, 101,401667 (lokasi SPenuh)

Cara Konversi Koordinat

Posted by Telkompedia team 0 comments

-Kunjungi website http://transition.fcc.gov/mb/audio/bickel/DDDMMSS-decimal.html
-masukan derajat, menit, detik pada kolom yg tetrsedia.
-bila pada kolom detik, terdapat satuan koma gunakan titik (.)
-klik "Convert to Decimal"
-akan muncul hasilnya di kolom terbawah.

Mobile PayBill

Posted by Telkompedia team 0 comments

Kali ini ceritanya rada inggris ya....
Biar penulisnya cepet bisa bhs bule...
Long gone are the days of shopping exclusively in stores and spending only money that's in your wallet. Sure, we've all got Pay Pal accounts these days, and purchasing goods and digital content from pretty much anywhere has never been easier. But the sheer number of mobile devices in consumers' hands magnifies the effect, and Juniper Research has recently released a report on just how big the Mobile Payments space has become.
Mobile Money Goes Mainstream is a whitepaper extract from Mobile Payment Strategies- Opportunities & Markets 2011 – 2015, from Juniper Research. When I was first approached about taking a look at the report, I was a bit underwhelmed in that I thought I was in tune with all things mobile, and that people shopping through their iPhones hardly rises to the level of news. As I dug in on the piece, I realized that I am pretty much a bumpkin on the topic.
Big numbers are meant to impress, so let's get right to the one that matters. Juniper estimates that by 2015, the global mobile payments market will be worth almost $700 million dollars. Given that much of that occurs in increments of somewhere under a dollar to around twenty dollars, it is pretty thought provoking from the perspective of volume of transactions. But what is really fascinating to the uninitiated is the clinical breakdown of payment schemes, and exactly what methods are being used to spend these dollars from mobile devices in various parts of the world, and how money spent is spread across both digital and physical goods and funds transfers. This is where the report packs its punch.
It's not oversimplifying the point to say that phones are supplanting cash in some countries, where "Near Field Communications" amount to the wave of a device that makes money change accounts. Then there are in-app billing mechanisms, my phone talking to yours directly for Person2Person payments, and a handful of other classifications of mobile payment schemes. There are definitely preferred ways of mobile shopping as you travel the world, implications for lower-tech countries, and a lot of food for thought for those looking to make revenue off of the opportunities afforded by new ways of getting customers to part with their money. Those with a stake in the mobile payment realm are likely going to want to give this one a read.
As I ponder the implications after digesting the whitepaper summary, I feel the familiar left brain-right brain conflict kick in- the one that frequently pops up when analyzing current IT trends. In this case, I truly appreciate the innovative, technically progressive ways in which those wanting to can shop for content or material items without needing to fork over dollar bills, pounds, pesos, or yuan. At the same time, when it comes to spending money, ease isn't always a good thing, especially for those who don't manage their finances well to begin with. I fully realize that the genie is out of the bottle on mobile payment. Now hopefully somebody will come up with a "uh, do you really NEED that thing you're thinking about buying just because it's so easy to buy that that thing" app.

Nokia kembali membuat gebrakan.

RSS Feed

Posted by Telkompedia team 0 comments

Apa sih RSS Feed ?

A typical T1 circuit is only 1.5 megabits per second. A typical digital 3 minute song is 3 megaBYTES or 24 megabits in size. A typical digital photo is about 2 megaBYTES or 16 megabits. The typical Power Point presentation is 10 megaBYTES in size or 80 megabits. If 3 or more people in the office were to email a power point presentation at the same time the office internet connection would slow to a crawl for 3 or more minutes. This does not take into account all the spam email clogging up your Internet connection while attempting to reach your mail server. Nor does it take into account many other new bandwidth hogging applications that others in office are using such as monitoring their nanny cam at home, watching MarketWatch , CNN streaming video channels, or uploading a photo album to a relative. Everyday there are new bandwidth intensive applications being developed for the Internet.
It's obvious that the common T1 connection can't handle this growth. Your best option is to research application of a DS3 bandwidth solution.
A DS3 (sometimes referred to as a T3 or E3) is a leased private dedicated line that goes directly from your office to an Internet Service Provider (ISP). A T3/DS3 connection is equivalent to 28 T1/DS1 connections and uses digital signals on fiber-optic cable at speeds of 45 million bps (bits per second) or 44.736 megabits per second. Generally this type of dedicated line is for 50-100+ users and/or high bandwidth applications. T3/DS3 connections can also be used for point to point access (direct connection between 2 business sites).
As a standard used in the North American and Japanese marketplaces, a DS3 can handle 672, 64Kbps voice conversations or one video data channel. The DS3 line has enough bandwidth to transmit full-motion real-time videos and very large databases over a busy network. Generally a DS3 line would be installed as a major networking channel for a large corporation, research facility, call center, or university with high volume network traffic. But there are multiple smaller scale business uses also....particularly when multiple locations are involved. Bandwidth for a Fractional DS3, up to a full DS3, generally run at speeds between 6 Mbps through 45 Mbps.
DS3 connection (or T3 connection), is great for companies with large bandwidth needs. It is especially useful as the backbone for Disaster Recovery systems. If your company needs computer access for 50 + users, or needs to run high bandwidth applications like video conferencing, you are likely in the market for a T3/DS3 connection. A T3/DS3 line is also a viable solution for companies looking to resell bandwidth to their customers.
The common T1 line can handle 24 simultaneous voice calls or a high speed Internet connection speed of 1.54 Mbps. This is usually the solution of choice for small to mid size businesses. A DS3 line can handle 672 simultaneous voice calls or provide a high speed Internet connection of 45 Mbps. The T3/DS3 is typically used by high end data and voice customers as it is the equivalent of 28 T1 lines or 672 voice lines.
Most DS3 circuits are "fractional", meaning a portion of the circuit. A DS3 is capable of 45 megabits per second. Fractional DS3s are usually, 8 megabit per second which is equal to about five (5) T1s. Today this is more than fast enough for most all business needs.
The cost of the DS3 circuit is always mileage based. Generally speaking the farther the distance from your ISPs Central Office (CO) connection the more it will cost. On top of that there is often a bandwidth usage charge.
DS3 service can be deployed for a wide variety of applications. The most common uses are DS3 point-to-point (tying 2 distinct business locations together), DS3 internet (data), DS3 frame relay, DS3 voice, and DS3 VPN. The pricing for these connections varies widely depending on the carrier, location of service and the application for which the connection is being used. Using a free rate quote research service such as DS3-Bandwidth.com will allow you to obtain current pricing for your location.

techno MP3

Posted by Telkompedia team 0 comments

Recording audio started towards the end of the 19th century with Thomas Edison's phonograph. This was a machine (that consisted of a tinfoil cylinder and a speaker that resembled the megaphone) that he invented and used to make a recording of Mary Had a Little Lamb, the first song recorded. This moment was crucial in the history of recorded sound. Wax, metal and other materials are shaped into cylinders and disks were used for at least 50 years. In 1929 the vinyl records were made and dominated the scene for the next forty years. Amazingly enough magnetic tape was developed at the same time but it only gained popularity in the 1960s. In 1985, the Compact Disc was developed by Sony and Philips and instantly became a huge success and, 13 years later, the portable MP3 player then made its debut. It was a breakthrough that would change everything; we can now store and listen to a massive amount of music, not just a few songs that use up all the memory of the player. So, in order to be able to store much, we must get the file compressed. This is where the codec software enters the stage; it can convert analogue music to a smaller digital file which is then stored in the memory of the MP3 (the air pressure waves that we hear as sounds bear the name of ‘analogue audio' when they are recorded). MP3 files can be constructed at higher or lower bit rates, with higher or lower resulting quality. A mid-range bit rate setting of 128 Kbit/s results in a file of about 1/10th the size of the file created from the original source. When we listen to our music, the software that has been embedded in the player reads the file which then decompresses it, converts it to analogue, amplifies the signal and transfers it to the headphones. This, in a nutshell, is how it works. As for the hardware, there is a laser device that reads the CD's, just as the stylus works for the records and a magnetic head for cassette tapes. The idea no longer looks puzzling now that several types of MP3 players have been created and the future of the system is likely to store even more revolutionary devices of the kind. We will certainly see an increase in a wide range of products but, for the time being, there are only three types of MP3 players available. The smallest, cheapest and probably the most reliable of all are the Flash Players. Their batteries are long lasting due to the fact that they have no moving parts. The capacity of these players has already reached 4GB and will surely increase in the near future. The newest models are about the size of a credit card. Hard Drive Players can have a memory of 80GB so they can hold thousands of tunes, photos and videos. All this on a device that is about the size of a deck of cards. Last but not least, the latest generation of portable CD-players, the CD MP3 players, employ MP3, ATRAC and WMA formats; some of them can even burn CDs, and will hold 10 to 45 hours of music per disc. There are also Minidisk models, a little more expensive than the standard ones

Introduction Web 2.0

Posted by Telkompedia team 0 comments

Ask a dozen Internet experts what the term Web 2.0 means, and you'll get a dozen different answers. Some say that Web 2.0 is a set of philosophies and practices that provide Web users with a deep and rich experience. Others say it's a new collection of applications and technologies that make it easier for people to find information and connect with one another online. A few journalists maintain that the term doesn't mean anything at all -- it's just a marketing ploy used to hype social networking sites.

The O'Reilly Media Web site is a prime example of
Web 2.0 at work.

Before we get into the debate about what Web 2.0 actually means, let's look at where the phrase originated. In 2004, publishing firm O'Reilly Media and tradeshow production company MediaLive International had a brainstorming session. The two companies planned a conference that addressed the state of the Web, its future and the emerging techniques that would help ensure its success on the Internet. Tim O'Reilly, founder and CEO of O'Reilly Media, wanted to make the point that despite the dot-com crash of 2000, the Web was sure to become an enormous revenue generator.

During this brainstorming session, O'Reilly Media publisher Dale Dougherty coined the phrase Web 2.0 to describe the new Web environment that emerged after the crash. While dozens of Internet companies had declared bankruptcy, a few hardy sites managed to survive. New Web sites were appearing every day, and many of them used drastically different business models than the commercial sites that existed before the crash.

Still, no one had a clear definition of what Web 2.0 actually meant. If there really was a Web 2.0, did that mean there was also a Web 1.0? The use of "2.0" implied an improvement, or a new generation of Web sites, but there was no consensus on what made Web 2.0 different from Web 1.0.

In September 2005, Tim O'Reilly posted a blog entry that defined Web 2.0. The explanation spanned five pages of text and graphics illustrating O'Reilly's take on what the term meant.

O'Reilly's philosophy of Web 2.0 included these ideas:

Using the Web as an applications platform
Democratizing the Web
Employing new methods to distribute information
In this article, we'll explore each of these points. We'll also look at the debate about whether or not Web 2.0 actually has a practical meaning.

What is Bluejacking ?

Posted by Telkompedia team 0 comments

By: HSW Team

Have you ever been doorbell ditching before? The point of the prank is simple: Sneak up to someone's front door, knock loudly or ring the doorbell, and, instead of greeting whoever answers the door, run away and hide somewhere nearby. The joy of doorbell ditching is, of course, reveling in the homeowner's confusion and rolling with laughter under the security of his nicely trimmed bushes. Although the game might get you in a bit of trouble if you happen to incite the ire of a cranky neighbor, it's mostly a harmless joke on par with a prank phone call.

For more technically inclined pranksters with access to Bluetooth technology, however, there's the digital version of doorbell ditching and prank phone calls: Bluejacking. A kind of practical joke played out between Bluetooth-enabled devices, bluejacking takes advantage of a loophole in the technology's messaging options that allows a user to send unsolicited messages to other nearby Bluetooth owners.
The only difference between doorbell ditching and bluejacking is that bluejacking usually isn't done on your neighbor's lawn. Instead, a bluejacker will most likely camp out in crowded areas like shopping malls, airports and subway systems to find victims -- places with a potentially high percentage of people with Bluetooth-enabled devices. The trend has even fostered fan Web sites, where Bluetooth users inform newcomers how to bluejack, trade tips and post amusing bluejacking stories that include every keystroke and puzzled look.
So how is bluejacking done? What is it about Bluetooth technology that makes it possible to bluejack? Does it have anything to do with hijacking information from another Bluetooth device, and can it cause any harm? Are there any privacy concerns? To learn how bluejackers engage each other, confuse one another or simply annoy innocent bystanders, read the next page.

Optical Mouse Work

Posted by Telkompedia team 0 comments

In using Computers, it appears that the venerable wheeled mouse is in danger of extinction. The now-preferred device for pointing and clicking is the optical mouse. Developed by Agilent Technologies and introduced to the world in late 1999, the optical mouse actually uses a tiny camera to take 1,500 pictures every second. Able to work on almost any surface, the mouse has a small, red light-emitting diode (LED) that bounces light off that surface onto a complimentary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) sensor.

The CMOS sensor sends each image to a digital signal processor (DSP) for analysis. The DSP, operating at 18 MIPS (million instructions per second), is able to detect patterns in the images and see how those patterns have moved since the previous image. Based on the change in patterns over a sequence of images, the DSP determines how far the mouse has moved and sends the corresponding coordinates to the computer. The computer moves the cursor on the screen based on the coordinates received from the mouse. This happens hundreds of times each second, making the cursor appear to move very smoothly.
Optical mice have several benefits over wheeled mice:
• No moving parts means less wear and a lower chance of failure.
• There's no way for dirt to get inside the mouse and interfere with the tracking sensors.
• Increased tracking resolution means smoother response.
• They don't require a special surface, such as a mouse pad.
Although Technology LED-based optical mice are fairly recent, another type of optical mouse has been around for over a decade. The original optical-mouse technology bounced a focused beam of light off a highly-reflective mouse pad onto a sensor. The mouse pad had a grid of dark lines. Each time the mouse was moved, the beam of light was interrupted by the grid. Whenever the light was interrupted, the sensor sent a signal to the computer and the cursor moved a corresponding amount. This kind of optical mouse was difficult to use, requiring that you hold it at precisely the right angle to ensure that the light beam and sensor aligned. Also, damage to or loss of the mouse pad rendered the mouse useless until a replacement pad was purchased. Today's LED-based optical mice are far more user-friendly and reliable.

It's tough getting noticed on the Web. A Web page can provide useful information about a popular subject in an interactive and engrossing way, yet still attract few visitors. One of the most reliable ways to improve traffic is to achieve a high ranking on search engine return pages (SERPs).
Imagine that you've created the definitive Web site on a subject -- we'll use skydiving as an example. Your site is so new that it's not even listed on any SERPs yet, so your first step is to submit your site to search engines like Google and Yahoo. The Web pages on your skydiving site include useful information, exciting photographs and helpful links guiding visitors to other resources. Even with the best information about skydiving on the Web, your site may not crack the top page of results on major search engines. When people search for the term "skydiving," they could end up going to inferior Web sites because yours isn't in the top results.
While most search engine companies try to keep their processes a secret, their criteria for high spots on SERPs isn't a complete mystery. Search engines are successful only if they provide a user links to the best Web sites related to the user's search terms. If your site is the best skydiving resource on the Web, it benefits search engines to list the site high up on their SERPs. You just have to find a way to show search engines that your site belongs at the top of the heap. That's where search engine optimization (SEO) comes in -- it's a collection of techniques a webmaster can use to improve his or her site's SERP position.
In this article, we'll look at two SEO philosophies: the white hat approach and the black hat approach. We'll also learn about some of the problems webmasters can encounter when trying to satisfy both the visitors to the site and search engines.
We'll take a general overview of what SEO really means on the next page.

There are hundreds of books and websites devoted to helping businesses
get their web sites on the first page of the search engine’s results
page. But what can you believe? When it comes to a
href= http://www.newmediadenver.com/ search engine optimization /a ,
Denver businesses know that it’s not about how much you know, but
rather taking smaller steps that will generate almost immediate
results. You don’t have to be the biggest web site on the
internet to get to the top – here’s what you can do now. br
br
For Bussiness Multimedia and all multimedia starters, you should recognize the importance of being on the first
page of a search engine result listing. While it’s true that some
people will go to the second results page, this is generally not the
case. When someone has typed in their search term and gotten
results, they’re going to choose someone from the first page. So,
if you’re not there, you’re not going to get higher traffic
numbers. To increase your a

Denver /a businesses should follow these three tips:
1. Do your research – It is in your best interest to
make sure that you’re researching your customers to see what kinds of
keywords they use when they’re looking up their query. If you
fail to do this, you’re not going to be using the best keywords to
increase your rankings. Try to use various keyword finders as
well as look at what keywords your competitors are using to get a list
that’s going to work for you. br
2. Focus on one keyword for each page – While it may
seem like a good idea to use as many related keywords as possible,
focusing on just one per page is what will increase your search engine
optimization. Denver businesses will often create a list of
keywords and then give them to writers that will write out articles
that focus on that keyword, repeating it once a paragraph or so.
In doing this, the articles will be seen as relevant to the search
engine and thus your site will be ranked higher. br
3. Make sure you have a lot of pages on your site –
If you only have five pages of SEO articles on your website, that isn’t
going to help your search engine optimization. Denver companies
will often create over two hundred pages of related content for the
site in order to create a site that’s both useful for customers as well
as relevant to the search engine. br
br
As a corollary to the idea of adding a lot of pages, you will also want
to make sure that you’re adding these pages over a long period of
time. This will work to increase your ranking slowly so that
you’re not overwhelmed by traffic counts. For smaller businesses,
this is the best strategy. br

By taking the time to improve your a

they’re not being ‘left behind’ on the second page of search engine
results. Even taking the time to follow these three tips will
help guarantee that you’re not going to be stuck with low traffic

Virus Email

Posted by Telkompedia team 0 comments

Virus authors adapted to the changing computing environment by creating the e-mail virus. For example, the Melissa virus in March 1999 was spectacular. Melissa spread in Microsoft Word documents sent via e-mail, and it worked like this:

Someone created the virus as a Word document and uploaded it to an Internet newsgroup. Anyone who downloaded the document and opened it would trigger the virus. The virus would then send the document (and therefore itself) in an e-mail message to the first 50 people in the person's address book. The e-mail message contained a friendly note that included the person's name, so the recipient would open the document, thinking it was harmless. The virus would then create 50 new messages from the recipient's machine. At that rate, the Melissa virus quickly became the fastest-spreading virus anyone had seen at the time. As mentioned earlier, it forced a number of large companies to shut down their e-mail systems.

The ILOVEYOU virus, which appeared on May 4, 2000, was even simpler. It contained a piece of code as an attachment. People who double-clicked on the attachment launched the code. It then sent copies of itself to everyone in the victim's address book and started corrupting files on the victim's machine. This is as simple as a virus can get. It is really more of a Trojan horse distributed by e-mail than it is a virus.

The Melissa virus took advantage of the programming language built into Microsoft Word called VBA, or Visual Basic for Applications. It is a complete programming language and it can be programmed to do things like modify files and send e-mail messages. It also has a useful but dangerous auto-execute feature. A programmer can insert a program into a document that runs instantly whenever the document is opened. This is how the Melissa virus was programmed. Anyone who opened a document infected with Melissa would immediately activate the virus. It would send the 50 e-mails, and then infect a central file called NORMAL.DOT so that any file saved later would also contain the virus. It created a huge mess.

Computer Software Microsoft applications have a feature called Macro Virus Protection built into them to prevent this sort of virus. With Macro Virus Protection turned on (the default option is ON), the auto-execute feature is disabled. So when a document tries to auto-execute viral code, a dialog pops up warning the user. Unfortunately, many people don't know what macros or macro viruses are, and when they see the dialog they ignore it, so the virus runs anyway. Many other people turn off the protection mechanism. So the Melissa virus spread despite the safeguards in place to prevent it.

In the case of the ILOVEYOU virus, the whole thing was human-powered. If a person double-clicked on the program that came as an attachment, then the program ran and did its thing. What fueled this virus was the human willingness to double-click on the executable.

Free Movie Download online

Free movie downloads online are the best alternative if you are planning to start a library with your favorite movies. Several websites now extend movie download services to internet users, and the movies offered include both old and new ones. These free movie downloads online can be accessed from anywhere at any time if you have a proper internet connection. There are mainly two types of services available for free movie downloads online. One is the P2P application that offers different pay schemes where movies are downloaded with the help of BitTorrent services. Sites using the P2P application facilitate movie downloads for lifetime, wherein the user has to pay a one time registration fee. Usually the registration fees range between 14 and 60 dollars. In these sites downloadable movies are provided to users through a file sharing network. These sites also provide free games, music and software downloads. These movie sites provide downloads using P2P network, and also through direct downloading from databases. The second type of service is that which charges a fee for downloading each movie or unlimited download of movies on a monthly subscription. Using a P2P network you can download a variety of items, whereas in direct downloading from database, your choices are limited. Direct downloading from databases is faster than downloading from a P2P network. When considering free movie downloads online, it is important to ensure that they are legal. The movie selections of legal sites belong to the owners of the site and they are licensed to hold it. This means that all movies in legal sites can be safely used. Legal movie sites might naturally have a lesser collection of movies than an illegal site. Free movie downloads online provided by illegal websites are often pirated copies. These movies violate individual copyrights, and handling these movies is punishable as per law. Additionally, these pirated movies very often have poor picture quality. Accessing illegal free movie downloads online can also harm your computer because of the possible presence of spyware and viruses in these illegal sites. Movie buffs can safely download DVD quality movies from legal sites at economical rates. You can get fantasy movies, detective movies, comic movies and more. Even old classic black and white movies are available in some sites. Browse the web and find a legal website offering free movie downloads online. Make your experience with free movie downloads online a pleasurable one by utilizing the services of reliable websites.

Search Engine Position Strategy

Posted by Telkompedia team 0 comments

The content of your website can determine the success of your website. For SEO purpose, we must make sure the content that we have on our website appeal to human visitors and Google robots alike. It is useless to have 100 keywords in a single page, because that will never work.
It would be wiser to create 100 pages with contents that revolve only around one keyword instead. With the latent semantic indexing, search engine are able to identify content that are built just for the sake of getting high ranking for certain keywords. You obviously don't want to be one of these people.
Search engines like Google place higher priority on websites that are filled with quality contents because they know no one will be happy to have junk websites listed as one of their search results.
One of the secret to have a better search engine position is simply by targeting keywords with lesser search volumes. These keywords usually have lesser competition and that makes them easier to target.
Just imagine if you have 50 pages of contents that are targeting these keywords and each of these keywords is pulling in 20 to 50 daily searches. That means you have at least 1000 daily traffic from daily searches from these keywords alone!
It's better to have high ranking for 50 keywords in a month instead of focusing all your effort to get a keyword that pulls in 3000 daily searches that takes 3 to 4 months to rank. It's a no brainer!

Free For All Sites

For those of you who don't know what an FFA site is, it's basically a website where you can post a link/add to your website for free. Generally it is also posted to many other sites at the same time and hopefully somebody sees your link...free advertising in other words. This also creates backlinks to your website. When you post a link, you are also giving permission (whether you know it or not) to receive confirmation e-mails back from the site owner. What seems to happen though is many people see this as free advertising and get angry when, not only do they not see a flood of sales come pouring in, but they start receiving other people's offers. I know when the first time it happened to me, I couldn't figure out what was going on and was frustrated at the results. Let's back up a moment and look at the bigger picture of what an FFA site is and its TRUE purpose. The true purpose of an FFA site is for the owner of that site to promote his/her business. It's really not just because he's a nice guy giving people a free advertising place. (If it were such a goldmine for pulling in sales, he would be doing it himself). That is just the bait, getting people to his site to post their links, thinking they are getting free advertising, so he can respond with "confirmation" of your link, and his business ad. Those confirmation e-mails are NOT spam. You had to agree to receive them in order to post your link. Who are reading these ads anyway? So is posting to FFA's a total waste of time? Not necessarily, you do get an occasional sale, people do go back to post their links and sometimes take a quick look through the links to see what's there while they're at it. So what's the answer? Get your own FFA site to promote your business. There are many excellent resources out there. I have found from personal experience however, that many of the services offering FFA's sites, offer a free version or a paid upgrade. The phrase "You get what you pay for" comes to mind with these. I've used several kinds and found that the paid upgrades more than paid for themselves in sales. Shop around however to compare between companies. You can promote any product through this method; information products, crafts, vitamins, whatever. You could have the very best on the entire internet, but if nobody sees your offer, it's not going to get the sales you desire. It takes traffic to get sales. These sites are options for driving those numbers to your site. Free classified ads sites are also in this same category with the same purpose and can be worth pursuing.

Music via Broadband

Posted by Telkompedia team 0 comments

It's no big secret that the way we listen to music has changed vastly over the last few years.
The emergence of bigger and better mp3 players has led to a surge in music downloads, even going so far as to shape the way music charts are compiled.
More of us now have access to a broadband connection, and many bands are now tapping into the online market in order to get their voices heard and records sold.
Record companies are making use of a wide variety of media and retail in order to get their artists heard - and now music is available to download from a range of different outlets - from your own PC to high street record shops.
Free downloads, offers with broadband packages and exclusive tracks are just some of the ways in which music corporations and independent artists are attempting to make our ears perk up and take notice of their material.
Social networking sites have also played a huge part in making music more widely available to the masses. Unsigned bands can now post material to pages which are viewed by thousands each day, offering the chance to download new material after hearing a short preview.
Such influence is now spreading to the mass media, with radio stations and indie television shows that specialise in undiscovered talent seeing increasing viewing and listening figures.
As the software and price war continues in the world of mp3 players - consumers now have access to a wide range of players of differing sizes (both in the player itself and how much data it can store)
Music stores have played a huge part in making downloadable music available to the consumer, with some predicting that receiving music down a broadband line could eventually signal the end of the physical CD single, normally available in the shops themselves.
And with many joining forces with the record companies in order to offer exclusive content on a range of bands, music fans and consumers alike appear to be going through a boom time.
As the world of downloadable music continues to grow, consumers could soon find themselves able to download that exclusive track from your favourite band during your weekly shopping trip in future.
Looking for better broadband? Perform a broadband speed test and compare broadband providers to find a deal that suits you.

Suwangga friend Tips

My advice is comes from my personal experience and previous testing of many of the spyware removal programs out there. First of all understanding the difference between Viruses & Spayware: If you are currently running a very popular virus protection software like Norton or McAffee and believe that your software will do the 'complete' job then you are completely mistaken. We have run a complete virus check on a particular PC and have found nothing. After the scan has been complete we have immediately run a Spyware scan and have found hundreds of Spyware infections on the same PC. This confuses the majority of people due to the fact that both viruses and spyware seem to be the same. Viruses... Some viruses are programmed to damage the computer by damaging programs, deleting files, or reformatting the hard disk. Others are not designed to do any damage, but simply replicate themselves and perhaps make their presence known by presenting text, video, or audio messages. Even these benign viruses can create problems for the computer user. They typically take up computer memory used by legitimate programs. As a result, they often cause erratic behavior and can result in system crashes. In addition, many viruses are bug-ridden, and these bugs may lead to system crashes and data loss. Spyware... Spyware programs can collect various types of personal information, such as Internet surfing habit, sites that have visited, but can also interfere with user control of the computer in other ways, such as installing additional software, redirecting Web browser activity, accessing websites blindly that will cause more harmful viruses, or diverting advertising revenue to a third party. Spyware can even change computer settings, resulting in slow connection speeds, different home pages, and loss of Internet or other programs From testing all the differnt software out there the following seem to be the most popular - spyware doctor - adaware pro - counterspy - spyware sweeper But the best by far is Spybot search and destroy by safer-networking. First of all run this program with the internet turned off and after a fresh reboot. When you do run this for the first time, dont be alarmed at the amount of infections that it finds and that your virus protection has completely missed. After scanning which usually takes 20-30mins, spybot 'may' ask you to reboot and rescan. If this is the case then do so. The reason for this is because some of the spyware infections can not be removed at the time of that scan because they are currently running and need to be shut off to remove. Once completed reboot again and you will find your PC will be running so much faster. I hope this helps someone out there Regards Lee You can visit us at the http://www.easyPC.co.uk Great Links http://www.download.com
